SAMS Creates Relief Fund For Chilean Church

Given the devastation and tremendous social impact which the February earthquake has had and will continue to have on Chileans, SAMS Canada has created a designated relief fund whereby Canadian supporters can contribute for relief and reparation purposes.

This fund is passed directly to the Anglican Diocese of Chile for allocation and use where deemed most necessary and appropriate at the discretion of the Diocese.

No service charge was applied by SAMS Canada during an initial period of sixty days; all transfer and administrative costs have been absorbed by SAMS during that period, assuring donors that 100% of those donations would be transferred quickly and in their entirety to Chilean diocesan officials for use where they are needed most.

As of May 1, 2010, SAMS’ usual administrative assessment of 10 % will be charged on any gifts received after this initial sixty day period.

To make a gift towards this fund, simply download and complete a donation form and mail to the SAMS office, or you can make your donation immediately on-line. It is particularly important that you mark your contribution clearly for The Chilean Relief Fund.
